I am a photographer living in the great Pacific Northwest of the United States. One of the things that draws me to this region is the amazing diversity of landscapes that are accessible within a short distance from my home. Mountains, deserts, rivers, forests, and the ocean are all within reach, and I love spending time exploring this beautiful place in which I am fortunate to live.
Photography for me is a way to share the enjoyment that time spent outdoors brings to me. While I enjoy a variety of “adventure” sports, my aim is to capture photos that tell stories beyond just the extremes that are so often focused on in these sports. For me, they are often a vehicle for visiting little-seen or appreciated places, and I hope to pass this on to those who view my photography.
